Protecting Your Loved Ones By Combating Elder Abuse
Elder Abuse Lawyers Serving Individuals And Families
Your loved ones deserve the best, but unfortunately, many elders become victims of Neglect, Abuse, and Fraud throughout California & Arizona. With more than 45 years of combined litigation experience, Julie Thorpe & Tim Tatro provide outstanding representation for victims of elder abuse and neglect.
Elder Abuse Cases We Handle
Elder abuse and neglect can take many forms. Such behavior may involve causing physical harm, neglecting to provide care, exploiting finances, isolating or abandoning a patient. When someone you care about is admitted into a nursing home or adult care facility, you expect him or her to be treated with respect and given appropriate care. Unfortunately, many people in nursing homes are treated unfairly or abused by those they trust most.
Financial elder abuse is often undetected until a family member or friend senses that an elder is being taken advantage of. Abusers often infiltrate an elder’s life and gain his or her confidence and trust before convincing the elder that turning over assets is in the elder’s best interest. The elder usually is not aware they are being manipulated.
